Comerica Park Disabled Guest Information

The Tigers are dedicated to accommodating the needs of guests with disabilities and their families/friends so that they may all enjoy their visit to Comerica Park. We strive to offer the finest fan service, offering a safe, clean and comfortable environment.

DROP OFF AREAS

Drop off areas are located at Gate B on the corner of Adams and Witherall as well as Gate D, on Montcalm between Brush Street and Woodward. Please allow adequate time to drop off guests, as game time approaches these streets may become inaccessible.

ELEVATORS/ESCALATORS

There are elevators located on the first base side behind section 109 (for access to the Tiger Club and 200 sections) and on the third base side behind section 130 (for access to Suite Levels and 300 sections). Escalators are available on the concourse section 121, near the Big Cat Court for access to the 300 level. For safety reasons, the escalators are upward moving only.

FIRST AID

For guests in need of medical assistance, first aid rooms are located on the main concourse behind section 140 and on the upper (300 level) concourse behind section 331. If immediate medical attention is required, please contact the nearest event staff member for assistance.

GUEST SERVICES

For your convenience, Guest Service offices are located behind section 130 on the main concourse, behind section 210 and behind section 330 on the upper levels. The Guest Service Staff is available to help with a variety of issues, including lost children, ticket problems and other general questions or inquires.

LOWER BOWL ACCESS

Access to 100 level, lower bowl seating is available via the ramps at sections 119 and 141.

MOBILITY IMPAIRED SEATING

Seating is available for our guests with mobility impairments in various seating categories throughout Comerica Park. For more information, please contact the tickets.com at 866-66 TIGER (See also SEATING AREAS, TICKET PURCHASE)

PARKING

Olympia Entertainment operates and manages approximately 5,000 parking spaces surrounding Comerica Park. There are also numerous other privately operated parking facilities within a 15-20 minute walk of Comerica Park.

Disabled: All Olympia Entertainment parking facilities have ADA compliant parking spaces. A state issued license plate or placard plus verification of ownership of the plate or placard is required in order to use these spaces. Guests with disabilities may be dropped off and picked up on Witherell Street, just south of Montcalm Street, by Gate A.

RESTROOMS

All restrooms in Comerica Park are wheelchair accessible. Companion/Family rest rooms are located behind sections 120, 139, 210 and 342. All of the rest rooms offer baby changing stations.

SEATING AREAS

Disabled seating is available throughout the ballpark offering unobstructed views of the playing field. There are a limited number of seats behind homeplate (section 125-130) that are protected by the screen for our guests with visual impairments. Wheelchair accessible sections are located throughout all areas of the ballpark.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Service animals are allowed in Comerica Park.

UPPER DECK ACCESS

Access to the 200 level is available via the Montcalm Ramp near section 125 or the elevators located in the Tiger Club lobby section 109. Access to the 300 level is available via the Brush Street Ramp near section 140, the elevators at section 130, or the escalators at section 121.

WHEELCHAIRS (transportation)

Wheelchairs are available for transportation to and from the seating areas but not for general use during the game. The Tigers will provide a person to assist the patron with the wheelchair. There are a limited number of wheelchairs, please allow adequate time if one is required. To obtain a wheelchair escort upon entry into Comerica Park, please ask your ticket taker, for a wheelchair escort at the conclusion of the game, ask the usher in your section. A guest in your party may also go to the Guest Services Office at section 130 on the main concourse to request wheelchair assistance.
