Tigers players work with charitable organizations in the Detroit Metropolitan area. The players contribute their time in various ways, including visiting with disadvantaged youth, recording public service announcements and acting as spokespersons for charities, participating in educational and recreational activities, appearing at community and charitable events, etc.
Tigers fans attending the Thursday matinee will have the opportunity to meet Tigers players Brandon Inge and Tigers shortstop Adam Everett shortly after the end of the game. Inge and Everett will sign autographs on the concourse at Gate B, outside the Tigers Pro Shop in exchange for a $20 donation to the Detroit Tigers Foundation to benefit the Nerve Re-Routing Project at a local community hospital. A donation of $20 qualifies for one autograph from each player.
NOTE: Fans must have a ticket to the game to be able to participate with the event.
Cash only. Tickets will be available for pre-sale at Gate A once gates open, while supplies last. Autographs will be limited to the first 200 tickets sold.
On August 15, Zach Miner & Clete Thomas will be signing autographs from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the ABC Warehouse in Livonia in exchange for donations of new or gently used baseball or softball equipment to the "Gloves For Kids" program. All equipment donations benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation.
