The Detroit Tigers organization, its owners, players, coaches, and management believe in the need to invest in our community's future. The Detroit Tigers Foundation was established in 2005 with the mission of enhancing lives through the game of baseball.
The 50/50 raffle program was developed in 2008 in an effort to create awareness, and raise funds in partnership with select local charities while enjoying an evening at Comerica Park.

The Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, was established in 2005 with the mission of enhancing lives through the game of baseball with a focus on youth, education, and recreation. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $5 million in grants, Tigers tickets and scholarships to local charitable organizations.
