The Detroit Tigers will host the 2005 Major League Baseball All-Star Week this July. The 76th All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Comerica Park. In addition to the Tuesday night game, All-Star Week festivities bring a variety of events to Detroit. The John Hancock All-Star FanFest®, Taco Bell All-Star Sunday, Taco Bell Legends/Celebrity Softball Game, All-Star Workout Day, and the Century 21 Home Run Derby will span the five days (July 8-12th). Major League Baseball, the Detroit Tigers and the City of Detroit are looking for volunteers to assist with all the events surrounding the Midsummer Classic.
