A MLB representative attends each Tigers baseball game. Following the game, these representatives meet with Tigers officials and authenticate any memorabilia that is game-used and being removed from the field, clubhouse or ballpark. Once the authenticator is satisfied that the item is "game-used", they place an official MLB tamper proof hologram on each item.
