Hitting Ability:Wallace may be one of the best hitters in college. He's got tremendous plate discipline and is a very tough out.
Power:He has power to all fields, with the ability to turn on inside pitches or go with outside pitches and hit them out.
Running Speed:Considering his size, he's not a bad runner.
Base running:Wallace is a good base runner -- he'll even steal a base here and there thanks to good instincts.
Arm Strength:Despite some funky arm action, Wallace has above-average arm strength.
Fielding:He's got good hands that should make him fine at first base as a pro.
Range:His range is limited and he's got bad feet. His lower half should keep him limited to playing first.
Physical Description:Wallace has been described as a good athlete trapped in a bad body.

Summary:Drawing rave reviews for his work in the box, he's one of the best hitters in college and perhaps in the entire Draft class. His unbelievable plate discipline will undoubtedly be attractive to some teams, though it's unlikely he'll play anything but first as a pro. He could be the kind of Major Leaguer who hits .300 with 25 homers and a high OBP annually.
