
Sparky Anderson, manager of the Big Red Machine in Cincinnati, where he won two World Series titles, and later skipper of the Tigers, whom he lead to the 1984 championship, has died at age 76. A two-time AL Manager of the Year, Anderson ranks sixth on the all-time wins list as a skipper and managed five All-Star teams. More »
