BALTIMORE, MD - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:
 
Recalled LHP T.J. HOUSE from AAA Columbus.
 
Optioned RHP CARLOS CARRASCO from AAA Columbus.
 
House, 23, has gone a combined 3-8 with a 4.83 ERA in 15 starts between AA Akron and AAA Columbus this year (87.2IP, 93H, 47ER, 11HR, 33BB, 75K). The 75 strikeouts are second most among Indians Minor League pitchers in 2013. Over his last 8 starts at Triple-A, his ERA is 4.56 (49.1IP, 51H, 25ER) and he is currently tied for.2nd in the International League with 2 complete games. House (#40) will be making his debut at the Major League level after spending the last 5 seasons since 2009 in the Player Development system. He was originally Cleveland's 16th round selection (501st overall) in the 2009 First-Year Player Draft.
 
Carrasco is 0-3 with a 7.78 ERA in 4 starts over two stints with Cleveland this season.
