KC & The Sunshine Band added to Rays Summer Concert Series
KC & The Sunshine Band has been added to the acts performing at Tropicana Field this summer as part of the Rays 2013 Summer Concert Series. The band is scheduled to perform at the conclusion of the Rays-Astros game on Saturday, July 13 at 4:10 p.m.

Rays to add Wil Myers to Major League roster
The Tampa Bay Rays are expected to select outfielder Wil Myers from Durham (AAA) Tuesday. He will join the team in Boston for the three-game series beginning Tuesday against the Red Sox. He will wear No. 9. To make room for him on the roster, the Rays optioned infielder Ryan Roberts to Durham. The Rays do not need to make a corresponding 40-man roster move because they had 39 players coming into today.

Rays Select C Nick Ciuffo and RHP Ryne Stanek in 2013 MLB Draft
The Tampa Bay Rays selected catcher Nick Ciuffo (SHOO-fo) from Lexington (S.C.) High School with the No. 21 overall pick and right-handed pitcher Ryne Stanek (STAN-eck) from the University of Arkansas with the No. 29 overall pick in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Rays to open 10-game homestand on Friday
The Tampa Bay Rays begin a 10-game homestand on Friday, June 7 with a weekend series against American League East opponent the Baltimore Orioles (June 7-9) followed by a three-game set with the division-leading Boston Red Sox (June 10-12). A four-game series against the Kansas City Royals (June 13-16) closes out the homestand.

Rays hold "Bark in the Park" at Tropicana Field
The Tampa Bay Rays will host their second Bark in the Park event of the season at Tropicana Field on Sunday, June 16 during the Rays-Royals game at 1:40 p.m.

Rays Baseball Foundation awards $100,000 to local nonprofits
The Rays Baseball Foundation, the official charity of the Tampa Bay Rays, awarded a total of $100,000 to 17 local nonprofit organizations through the Community Fund Grant Program today.

Seventh annual Rays High School All-Star Classic to be played at Tropicana Field
Tropicana Field will once again host the top high school baseball players from Hillsborough County and Pinellas County in the seventh annual Rays High School All-Star Classic on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:30 p.m.

Rays homestand begins with games vs. Yankees & Marlins
The Tampa Bay Rays open a five-game homestand on Friday, May 24, with a three-game set against American League East opponent the New York Yankees (May 24-26) before a two-game series with the Miami Marlins (May 27-28).

Rays, PBATS, Taylor Hooton Foundation and MLB Charities to host "Play" Program
The Rays, the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS), the Taylor Hooton Foundation and Major League Baseball Charities will host PLAY-Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth-for kids ages 7 to 17 and their parents on Saturday, May 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Tropicana Field.
