DETROIT -- The Detroit Tigers today announced the club finalized its Opening Day roster with the following moves: purchasing the contract of left-handed pitcher Bobby Seay from Triple-A Toledo, placing left-handed pitcher Edward Campusano on the 15-day disabled list following left elbow surgery, placing right-handed pitcher Roman Colon on the 15-day disabled list as he recovers from neck surgery and placing infielder Tony Giarratano on the 60-day disabled list following right shoulder surgery.
The Tigers open the 2007 season on Monday afternoon at Comerica Park against the Toronto Blue Jays at 1:05 p.m. ET. The club will conduct a workout at Comerica Park on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
