The Detroit Tigers host the first of two Select-A-Seat events tomorrow, Saturday, February 21 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Comerica Park. Select-A-Seat is a free event to give potential season ticket package buyers the opportunity to visit Comerica Park and select their seats for the 2009 season. Packages are available for as low as $9 per game for Full Season, 41-Game, 27-Game and the Aquafina 15-Game season ticket package and include Opening Day. The Tigers will host a second Select-A-Seat event on Saturday, February 28.

Each fan will be taken on a one-on-one guided tour of Comerica Park in order to choose their favorite seat. A Tigers "concierge" will escort the fan and provide valuable information on each available seat location to ensure fans get their best plan.

New this year, fans who purchase ticket packages on Saturday will get a unique opportunity to tour the Tigers' clubhouse. The tour will include a visit to Manager Jim Leyland's office, the Video Room, past the trainer's area, and through the Umpire's Tunnel.

All attendees are entered to win great gifts including two Opening Day tickets, an autographed Placido Polanco bat and the chance to throw out the first pitch at an upcoming Tigers home game.

"This is an opportunity for fans who are thinking about buying season tickets to find the best available seat that will provide them with their best view of the field at Comerica Park," said Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Ticket Sales Steve Harms. Potential season ticket buyers can enter through the Administrative Lobby off Montcalm and proceed to the Lower Lobby - where a Season Ticket Representative will be at the door to greet guests and direct them. There is complimentary parking in the Tigers Parking Garage.

This event is only for prospective NEW season ticket buyers. Current season ticket holders should contact their ticket sales representative to change their seat locations.

Six Packs, Group Tickets, Individual Games & Home Opener
Tigers Six Packs are now on sale and start as low as $84.00 for six games. Group ticket packages are also available. Individual game tickets go on sale Saturday, March 7 at 10:00 a.m. The Tigers play their 2009 home opener on Friday, April 10 at 1:05 p.m. when they host the Texas Rangers as part of Opening Weekend.
