Right-hander Roman Colon lasted just 2 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, but the Tigers rallied to tie the game at 6. Catcher Ivan Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with three RBIs, falling a double shy of of hitting for the cycle, but Detroit dropped its second straight game to the Yankees in 11 innings.
