Joe Blanton did his best to pitch the A's to a win. He gave up five runs and nine hits over 6 2/3 innings, but Oakland was able to muster a pair of runs off Tigers starter Jordan Tata. Mark Kotsay doubled home the A's first run and came home on Kurt Suzuki's single. Complete story >
