Detroit's hopes dashed
Indians 4, Tigers 2
Ramon Santiago, who had a double in the third, strikes out against C.C. Sabathia. (AP)
 Raburn's single drives in two
Southpaw Nate Robertson gave a valiant effort in allowing four runs over seven innings, but in the end, he couldn't buoy the sinking Tigers. Detroit scored two runs off Ryan Raburn's single to left in the third, but was otherwise stifled by Cleveland ace C.C. Sabathia, as the current losing streak reached three games.
