Tigers fall short
Photos
Cardinals 4, Tigers 3
Edwin Jackson lost for the first time since May 26 despite a quality start. (Jeff Roberson/AP)
Edwin Jackson recorded a quality start as he allowed three runs and struck out seven in six innings, but the Tigers couldn't get much going on offense. Curtis Granderson was the one exception, as he went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in the loss on Wednesday night.
