Placido Polanco didn't start the finale with the Tribe, but ended up with the game-winning RBI in the 10th inning for the Tigers. Nate Robertson pitched six innings of shutout ball, but lost a chance at the win when the Indians scored three runs off the bullpen in the eighth. Curtis Granderson led off the game with a home run.
