In an exciting new relationship, VYou and the MLBPA will bring some of the biggest names in baseball front and center on the groundbreaking social media platform. Through this relationship, the MLBPA continues to assert itself as an early adopter of new technology in the social media field. Leading off the MLBPA's The Players Clubhouse channel on VYou are Boston slugger David Ortiz, San Francisco closer Brian Wilson, Los Angeles outfielder Torii Hunter and 2010 Players Choice Award winner for AL Outstanding Player, Texas outfielder Josh Hamilton.

"Profile discovery is one of VYou's key focuses, and we believe channels will serve as a great tool to find curated collections of people," said Steve Spurgat founder of VYou. "We could not have asked for a better partner to launch this feature with than the Major League Baseball Players Association; their progressive thinking has allowed us to launch with some of the best personalities and talent in the league."

"We're excited to be a part of the launch of this new technology," Richard White, MLBPA genereal manager of licensing, added. "VYou provides another way in which players can uniquely connect with the fans of the game."

VYou allows people to broadcast video structured as conversations, offering the most personal form of social interaction on the web. VYou lets you get advice from experts, interact with your favorite celebrity or organization, or communicate with friends and family using a social presence that persists even when you are away.
