Once again the Toronto Blue Jays are offering local baseball associations across Ontario the opportunity to host a Blue Jays Instructional Clinic for young players aged 8 to 14. Blue Jays Instructional Clinics will be taking place from April to June. The Instructional Clinics are an excellent fundraising opportunity for your local association, and these clinics will compliment your local association's player development program.
Qualified Blue Jays instructors will focus on teaching young players of all abilities the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. Each clinic will be four hours in length. During the clinic, players will rotate through drills that will deal with skills such as: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching and baserunning. We also invite coaches to come on to the field to observe and ask our instructors questions.
The Blue Jays Instructional Clinic fee is $40 per player. The Blue Jays are aware of the need for local associations to raise funds to offset some of the rising costs they are experiencing. Therefore local associations will receive $20 per registration for the clinic. The Blue Jays will process the registrations and payments on bluejays.com/clinics and will provide all of the necessary equipment for the clinic. Clinic donations will only be granted to minor baseball associations.
